Ketchup

Course: Condiments

Ingredients
  

  • 3 jars organic tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup white or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp xylitol, erythritol or honey
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp dried mustard powder
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch allspice
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

Method
 

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend well.
  2. Refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

For cocktail sauce, just att 1 - 2 tbsp of fresh grated horseradish.
